Return & Exchange Policy

🔹 Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are applicable only under the following circumstances:
  1. The umbrella arrives damaged, defective, or with missing parts (proof such as photos or videos is required).
  2. The wrong product (wrong color, size, or model) is shipped due to Skymbrell’s error.
  3. Note: Returns for reasons such as "change of mind" or "incorrect personal purchase" are not accepted to ensure product quality and reduce unnecessary waste.

🔹 Time Limit for Return Requests

  • You may submit a return or exchange request within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery confirmation (based on the carrier’s delivery record).
  • Requests submitted beyond the 30-day window will not be processed.

🔹 Steps to Initiate a Return & Exchange

  1. Submit an Application: Contact our customer support team at customer@skymbrell.com with your order number, reason for return, and relevant proof (e.g., photos of defective parts).
  2. Wait for Approval: Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days and send a return authorization email if approved. This email will include the designated return address and return instructions.
  3. Ship the Item Back: Pack the umbrella securely in its original packaging and ship it to the designated address provided in the authorization email. DO NOT ship the item back to our mailing address (Tongyi Village, Hezhuang, Qiantang, Hangzhou 311222, China), as we do not accept returns at this location.
  4. Confirm Receipt & Process: Once we receive and inspect the returned item (which takes 3–5 business days after delivery to our warehouse), we will notify you via email of the result.

🔹 Return Fees & Shipping Costs

  1. Return Processing Fee: No return processing fee will be charged for eligible returns (damaged, defective, or wrong items).
  2. Return Shipping Costs:
    • If the return is due to Skymbrell’s error (defective product, wrong item shipped), we will provide a pre-paid shipping label for you to send the item back at no cost.
    • For other eligible scenarios (if applicable), the return shipping cost will be borne by Skymbrell.

🔹 Refund Processing

  1. Refund Approval: Refunds will be approved only after the returned item passes our quality inspection and is confirmed to meet return eligibility.
  2. Refund Timeline: Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days after inspection.
  3. Refund Duration: The time it takes for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your payment provider’s processing time (usually 3–7 business days for credit/debit cards; varies for other payment methods).
  4. Exchange Alternative: If you prefer an exchange instead of a refund, we will ship the replacement item for free once the returned item is confirmed eligible. The replacement will be processed within the same timeline as refunds.

🔹 Non-Returnable Items

  • Umbrellas that have been used, damaged intentionally, or altered after delivery are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Items without original packaging or proof of purchase (order number) will not be accepted.

🔹 Additional Notes

  1. Please ensure the returned item is well-packaged to avoid damage during transit; we reserve the right to reject returns for items damaged in return shipping.
